Who are your clients exactly?

Our Clients are busy men and women who realise that their work and lifestyle is negatively affecting their health and fitness, who want to turn it around and stay on top of it. They want to feel strong, flexible, relaxed and free of aches and pains so they can focus on doing the things they need and love to do. They want to feel confident in how their body looks, moves and feels; feeling younger every year, rather than older.

We specialise in working with complete Beginners because we love to help people discover the power of Pilates. These may be people who have never exercised before or are returning to exercise after a break and subsequently feel a bit nervous. Our Beginners classes and courses are also ideal for those wanting to manage back pain, need help recovering from injury, surgery or exercising with an underlying health condition. We love to see Beginners improve their posture, increase their muscle strength and tone and learn how to feel more confident in their bodies.

We also specialise in working with pregnant women who want to prepare their bodies for the demands of pregnancy and childbirth whilst setting themselves up for a faster recovery and feeling confident in their pregnant bodies. We then help these women postpartum with their recovery so they feel strong and powerful in new motherhood and able to take on the demands of their new role without suffering with the aches and pains which have become so normalised.

Who will your programmes work for?

Our programmes are suitable for men and women of all ages, abilities and who are located anywhere in the world! So long as you are willing to make a commitment to your fitness and wellness you’ll fit right in. We seek to enhance our client’s mental and physical wellbeing through a convenient, flexible and fun programme of classes and support in between.

Where do your classes take place?

We predominantly offer our classes Online with both Live and On-Demand classes available as well as a range of Self-Guided Courses. This means you can choose when and where you take your classes, fitting them in around work, family and even taking them with you on business trips and holidays. We also offer a small number of face to face classes in Brighton, UK.

What type of person do I need to be to make this work?

If you’re currently very busy with work and personal life, used to putting everyone else before you, rushing from place to place trying not to drop the ball but…. Are also scared and fed up with how your body feels, then you are our ideal client. You just need to be open minded and genuinely willing to make the time for the change you seek.

I’ve tried lots of stuff before and nothing has worked. Does this really work?

Pilates can offer many benefits such as improved posture, increased strength and the ability to reduce back pain without medication or intervention as well as forming part of a drive towards a healthier lifestyle. It has changed many of our clients’ lives and made them feel empowered and in control of their bodies once again. These amazing things can be achieved so long you are consistent with your practice and you make it a habit. We will be there for you, to help you along the way, but ultimately you are in control of your own success.

That’s totally understandable and that’s why we offer a 7 Day Free Trial of our Live and On-Demand classes and provide you with free access to week 1 of any of our self-guided courses. If you live in Brighton and wish to attend a face to face class your first one is free.

What results can I expect?

Our clients usually float out of the room after class! I can see them standing taller, shoulders back, enjoying the increased mobility in their joints and spine, along with a release of tension in their muscles that they can immediately feel. They love feeling well worked from top to toe!

You’ll breathe better and increase your body awareness which means you’ll have all the tools you need to identify when your body isn’t feeling so good and know what changes to make to feel better.

Our clients tell us that they feel calmer, less stressed, they can think more clearly and that these mental benefits have had a huge impact on how they interact at work and at home. They enjoy making new friends with the other participants and having an hour of time to focus on themselves.

All these physical, mental and emotional changes will make you feel happier and more confident in your body.

How quickly can I expect results?

There is a famous quote by Joseph Pilates and I believe it to be true. He said: “In 10 sessions, you feel better, 20 sessions you look better, 30 sessions you have a completely new body.” Of course that’s only true if you commit to consistent practice and do at least 2 classes a week. Our Unlimited Access Live and On-Demand Class Package means most of our clients do three sessions per week and start reaping the benefits very quickly.

It sounds great but I don’t have time?

Our Live and On-Demand class package gives you unlimited access to all our live classes and recordings. We offer live classes five days per week from early morning until evening and of varying lengths so feel sure you’ll find something to fit your schedule. If you can’t, you’ll have access to all the class recordings so you can fit the class in around your existing schedule and never need to miss a class due to work, family or travel plans.

Ultimately, is your wellbeing and happiness a priority? If yes, then I know you will find the time. I always say you can make Pilates as everyday as drinking water. Do you have time to drink water? Then you have time to do Pilates.

Do I need to be fit to keep up in the sessions?

Not at all – we have members of varying fitness levels and for every exercise and stretch we offer three different options in our Mixed Ability Classes (at different levels of difficulty) so that everyone can take part at the level they are comfortable with.

We also offer classes and self-guided courses for Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced members as well as specialty classes for pregnant, post natal and back pain sufferers.

Is it going to be really hard?

No, not at all. Gentle encouragement is what it’s all about. You will be able to progress at a pace that suits you and your abilities. Like anything new, you will just need to take the time to adjust and feel comfortable with everything, but rest assured we would never teach you exercises that are impossible. Challenging yes, impossible no!
