Where are you at?

You are currently pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months. You want to feel strong, toned and confident in your body but don’t know what to do in terms of exercise or how to exercise safely based on where you are right now.

You might already go to lots of birth preparation or baby focussed classes but you aren’t doing anything to look after yourself right now. You sometimes feel guilty about spending money on yourself (especially as maternity pay is rubbish!) but you know that if you don’t take care of your body now, you’ll just be storing up problems for later.

What problems might you be facing right now?

Pregnancy

You want to stay fit, strong and toned but are fighting nausea, aches and pains, low energy levels, food cravings, poor sleep (the list goes on!). You’re also working and/or running around after your other children so fitting in time to exercise and get to a regular class is really difficult.

You know that having a strong core and pelvic floor will make for an easier pregnancy and birth and a faster post partum recovery but you are scared of doing the wrong exercises and hurting yourself or the baby.

Post Natal

You’ve lost a lot of core strength as a result of pregnancy and hate the ‘Mummy tummy’ you’ve developed. You’ve heard of Diastasis Recti but don’t know if you’re affected or what it means in practical terms.
Depending on the type of birth you had, you may also be struggling with a weak pelvic floor and be embarrassed by poor bladder control or, you had a C-section and are feeling nervous about exercising after major surgery.
You’re terrified of doing the wrong type of exercise and hurting yourself and you also don’t have any childcare so need something super flexible you can do from home or bring your baby to. Your posture is really suffering from feeding, carrying and sleeping awkwardly and this is causing you back pain.

What you need help with right now?

Pregnancy

You want an exercise class that’ll give you a decent workout but is tailored to your current needs and ability whilst pregnant. You want a class which is led by a specially trained pregnancy instructor so you feel 100% safe. Time is tight so a flexible schedule is also key.

You want to prepare your body for the demands of birth and motherhood as best you can and feel strong, toned and confident in your body during your pregnancy. It would also be great to meet others currently pregnant who understand just how you feel right now.

Post Natal

You need an exercise class especially for new mums that doesn’t require childcare and is totally flexible around your unpredictable schedule. You also want a class which is led by a specially trained post-natal instructor so you feel 100% safe.

You want to start strengthening your core, get any pelvic floor issues sorted out as soon as possible and feel confident in your body. You need help to sort out your posture and reduce your back pain and you need to learn how to go about daily tasks without hurting yourself. You also want to meet and feel connected to other Mums who understand just how you feel right now.

How can we help you?

You can choose between our Self-Guided Courses or Small Group Coaching Sessions.

The Self-Guided Courses guide you week by week through Trimester 2 and Trimester 3 of your pregnancy and/or the post natal period right from birth. They are led by Restore Fitness Therapies Director and Pre and Post Natal Certified Instructor, Clare Jarvis who filmed these during her own pregnancy and post natal recovery. You can work through the classes whenever and wherever it suits you, stopping and starting videos as you need to and returning to classes as many times as you like with your unlimited access.

Our Small Group Coaching Sessions involve a live weekly class with one of our Pre and Post Natal Certified Instructors where you can get live instruction and correction. Class sizes are kept small so you get lots of attention from your instructor and the opportunity to ask questions and gain feedback. Each class ends with a ‘coffee club’ where you can connect with the other members of your group and enjoy the social benefits of attending a group exercise class. Don’t worry if you miss a session or want to do more; you’ll get access to the class recording afterwards. Small Group Coaching is perfect for those who like to stick to a weekly schedule and like a greater level of interaction and support.
